By consolidating the comprehensive data of clinical microbiology into a single platform, BactiFind equips healthcare workers with critical data at their fingertips. From rapid organism identification to complex resistance decoding, the app streamlines clinical workflows, ensures data-backed decisions in seconds, and bridges the gap between laboratory data and patient care.

BactiFIND Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Nishu Sharma ("we," "us," "the Provider") governing your use of BactiFIND ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

1. Description of the App
BactiFIND is a reference, calculation, and diagnostic-support tool for microbiology and clinical laboratory professionals, clinicians, and students, including organism reference data, biochemical decision-support tools, antimicrobial susceptibility calculators, quality-control tracking, and related educational tools.

2. Eligibility
The App is intended for users aged 18 or older, in a professional, academic, or training capacity related to clinical microbiology. It is not intended for children.

3. License & Restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own professional or educational purposes. You agree not to copy, reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or remove notices from the App, and not to enter directly identifying patient information into the App.

4. Signing In via Google, Facebook, or Other Platforms
If you choose to sign in using Google, Facebook, X (Twitter), or a similar option, you are authenticated directly by that platform — we never see or store your password. We only receive limited profile information (such as your name, email, and profile photo) needed to create and recognize your account. You can disconnect a linked account at any time from within the App or from that platform's own account settings.

5. Medical & Professional Use Disclaimer
Not a substitute for professional judgment
BactiFIND is a professional reference and educational support tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not replace clinical judgment, institutional protocols, or a qualified healthcare provider. All results and interpretations must be independently verified against current institutional and regulatory (e.g. CLSI) guidance before clinical use. You are solely responsible for any clinical or professional decision made using this App.

6. User-Submitted Content
Any case logs, notes, or images you enter must be de-identified or institutionally anonymized. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of content you create or submit.

7. Consent to Sharing & Showcasing
If you send us feedback, testimonials, or content via email, WhatsApp, or our social media accounts, you grant us the right to use, display, and share that content — including showcasing it publicly — to promote or discuss the App, unless you clearly state it is confidential when you send it.

8. Advertising & Third-Party Links
The App may display third-party advertisements and contain links to our YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and WhatsApp accounts. These are operated independently of us and governed by their own terms.

9. Intellectual Property
The App's software, design, and original content are owned by the Provider. Reference standards cited within the App (e.g. CLSI guidelines) remain the property of their respective publishers; the App implements independent interpretation logic based on such publicly available standards.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any clinical decision made in reliance on it. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to use the App in the preceding twelve months.

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider from any claims arising from your use of the App, any clinical decision made using it, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Account & Data Deletion
You may delete your account and locally stored data at any time within the App, or request deletion by emailing rrajsh8@gmail.com or submitting our Account Deletion Request Form (URL - https://forms.gle/EMk3byLDMBrEq4Fi9). If you signed in via a third-party platform, we recommend also revoking the App's access from that platform's own account settings.

13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will update the "Effective date" and "Version" above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Critical Restriction: Nitrofurantoin is restricted strictly to uncomplicated lower UTI/cystitis forms (never for systemic pyelonephritis, deep abscesses, HAP, or structural VAP targets).
Oral Fosfomycin is strictly reserved purely for uncomplicated cystitis vectors and validated multidrug-resistant lower UTIs.
Surgical Prophylaxis: Prolonged surgical coverage tracks lasting 3-to-14 days are completely discontinued.
